Last year, WhatsApp finally added the ability to transfer data from iOS to Android, and now the messenger is testing the transfer in the reverse order.

To do this, you only need the official application from Apple.

In this case, several requirements must be met:
- You are going to use the same WhatsApp number on your iPhone as you do on your Android smartphone.
- The iPhone must be new (or factory reset).
- Both smartphones must be connected to the charger and the same Wi-Fi network.
After that, on an Android smartphone, just open the Transfer to iOS application and select WhatsApp from the list of available data. Then follow the instructions on the screen.
Just as transferring from an iPhone requires Android 12 or later to be installed on the receiving smartphone, transferring data from Android requires the latest firmware on the new device: iOS 15.5 and higher. At the same time, you can extract data even from an old smartphone – up to Android 5.0.
Now the feature is only available in the latest beta: WhatsApp 2.22.10.70 on iPhone and 2.22.7.74 on Android. It is not yet known when it will appear in the stable build.
